Whether you are a beginner, or already have experience in yoga, a class with Meng Foong offers time for introspection. Her teaching is aimed at people who are serious about learning and practicing yoga in its full sense and not just limited to poses or positions. Yoga teachers seeking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of yoga are welcome.
Originally from Malaysia, Meng Foong is currently based in Evian-les-Bains, a small picturesque French town, situated on the banks of Lake Geneva, famed worldwide for its mineral water.
Meng Foong first came in contact with Yoga as a child and much later had the opportunity to study Yoga in India under different teachers.
She has taught yoga classes, workshops and retreats since 2004. She teaches in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and very basic French.
Meng Foong and Marc, co-founders of Yoga Now Malaysia, and its retreat centre on the resort island of Langkawi in the Andaman sea, first met in an ashram in India in 2005 while studying yoga. A year later they ran into each other again in the same place. Marc moved to Malaysia in 2007 to be with Meng Foong and they have taught yoga together since then. In 2022 they moved to Evian-les-Bains in France.
